EU and US Sizes in This Catalogue

Most entries in this gallery record one size system: EU. A smaller number record both EU and US. This page explains what that means and gives the one complete EU-to-US mapping that appears in the catalogue.

What the size data is

Each entry lists the sizes that were recorded for that particular model when it was catalogued. It is a record of what exists in that size run — not a stock list, and not a claim about what is available today.

The one complete mapping in this catalogue

On the entry for Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP ‘Velvet Brown’, both systems are recorded across 19 sizes. That gives us a full observed mapping:

EU US
36 4
36.5 4.5
37.5 5
38 5.5
38.5 6
39 6.5
40 7
40.5 7.5
41 8
42 8.5
42.5 9
43 9.5
44 10
44.5 10.5
45 11
45.5 11.5
46 12
47.5 13
48.5 14

How to use it

Read it as a starting point, not a rule. The mapping above is what one model’s size run looks like. Different models use different lasts — the shape the shoe is built on — so the same EU number can feel different from one silhouette to another. A chunky low-top and a slim runner marked EU 42 are not the same amount of room.

Two practical notes:

  • Half sizes are not evenly spaced. Note that the table jumps from EU 41 straight to 42, and from 37.5 to 38 — the recorded runs skip some half sizes entirely.
  • When an entry lists EU only, that is because US was not recorded for it. It is not an omission to be guessed at.
